Chemical formula: FeSO4·7H2O
Appearance: Blue-green monoclinic crystals, in the form of crystals or powder, highly soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is light green.
Characteristics: It is prone to efflorescence in dry air. It is prone to oxidation when exposed to moist air, and yellowish-brown basic ferric sulfate forms on the surface.
Storage: It should be stored in a sealed container in a cool and dry place, avoiding contact with oxidants and alkalis.
