Product Description
Magnesium chloride anhydrous (MgCl2) is a white crystalline solid with a density of 2.32 g/cm³ and a melting point of 714°C. It is highly hygroscopic and readily absorbs moisture from the air to form hydrates. It is soluble in water and ethanol, forming a colorless solution. It is mainly used as a raw material for producing magnesium metal, as a catalyst in organic synthesis, and as a drying agent.
