• Appearance: White fine powder or granules, odorless and tasteless.
• Physical Properties: Density 2.94 g/cm³, melting point 2852°C, boiling point 3600°C. Insoluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ethylene glycol. When exposed to air, it readily absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide, gradually forming basic magnesium carbonate.
• Chemical Properties: Magnesium oxide is a basic oxide, possessing the general properties of basic oxides. It can react with acids and ammonium salts. It reacts slowly with water to form magnesium hydroxide, with a saturated aqueous solution pH of 10.3.

Soil Conditioner
