Application

   

     Chemical industry: It is an important reducing agent and sulfonating agent. In the printing and dyeing industry, it is used in the dyeing process of reducing dyes to soluble chromophores, which can better penetrate into the interior of fibers for dyeing; In organic synthesis, as a sulfonating agent, it participates in the sulfonation reaction of certain compounds to prepare organic compounds containing sulfonic acid groups; It can also be used to treat chromium containing wastewater, reducing hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium for subsequent precipitation removal.
     Paper industry: used for bleaching and steaming processes of pulp. In the bleaching process, it can be used as a reducing agent to remove residual lignin from pulp and improve the whiteness of paper; During the steaming process, it can inhibit the growth of microorganisms, reduce pulp spoilage and deterioration, and help improve the strength and quality of paper.
