Solubility: easily soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic, insoluble in ethanol.
Hydrolytic: In water will occur hydrolysis reaction, the formation of aluminum hydroxide colloid, so that the solution is acidic. Its hydrolysis reaction is affected by temperature, pH value and other factors, heating or under acidic conditions can promote hydrolysis.
Thermal stability: When heated to 250 ° C, crystal water is lost, and when heated to 770 ° C or more, it begins to decompose into aluminum oxide, sulfur trioxide and water vapor.
