          Magnesium chloride hexahydrate, also known as water chlorite chemical formula MgCl2·6H2O, fraction: 203.3. Colorless crystal, columnar or needle-like, bitter. Soluble in water and ethanol, it is easy to delix when humidity is high. Hot melt decomposition at 116~118ºC. It is mixed with magnesium oxide and water to form magnesium cement. Reacts with hydroxide of alkali or alkaline earth metals.
Sensory indicators: white crystal, columnar or needle-like flaky, bitter.
