Product Description
Trisodium phosphate, with the chemical formula Na3PO4, appears as colorless to white crystals or crystalline powder, and comes in various forms such as anhydrous and containing 1 to 12 molecules of crystalline water. It is highly soluble in water and its aqueous solution is alkaline. It is prone to deliquescence and weathering in dry air. The melting point of the dodecahydrate is 73.4ºC and its relative density is 1.62. It will gradually lose its crystalline water when heated and become anhydrous above 212ºC.
