Chemical Properties
• Solubilization and Dispersibility: It can increase the solubility of sparingly soluble substances in water, enhance their solubility and stability, and help disperse solid particles evenly in a liquid to prevent sedimentation.
• Buffering: It is capable of regulating the acidity or alkalinity of a solution, keeping it within a certain range to protect the nutrients in the substance from being destroyed.

1. Food Processing
• Food Additive: Sodium tripolyphosphate is commonly used as a food additive in food processing. It mainly serves to regulate the acidity or alkalinity of food, enhance taste, retain moisture, help preserve food, and extend shelf life. It can also tenderize food, increase its elasticity, and improve the texture to be more delicate and smooth. Therefore, it is widely used in meats, dairy products, canned goods, fruit juices, and other food products.• Moisture Retainer: It has an enhancing effect on proteins and globulins, so it can increase the hydration and moisture retention of meat products, improve water permeability, promote the softening of food, and enhance food quality while maintaining its excellent flavor.

It is widely used in water purification and softening.
