Melting point and boiling point: its melting point is relatively low, when heated, as the temperature rises, it will first lose the water of crystallization, gradually transformed into a hemihydrate, and continue to be heated will be further dehydrated to form anhydrous calcium chloride. The melting point of anhydrous calcium chloride is about 772ºC and the boiling point is about 1600ºC.

Application
Snow melting and de-icing:

Chemical raw material
