Product Description
Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, chemical formula FeSO4.7H2O, commonly known as green alum.
The appearance is light blue-green monoclinic crystal, the density is about 1.898g/cm³, easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is light green.
Chemically, it is reductive, easy to be oxidized, and ferrous ions will be hydrolyzed.
Industrial production methods include titanium dioxide by-product method and waste iron filings and sulfuric acid reaction method.
