Standard Packaging & Handling
Packaging: 25 kg multi-layer paper bags or plastic woven bags with inner liner. Bulk bags (500-1000 kg) are available for large orders.
Storage & Safety: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and caking. Although generally considered low hazard, avoid creating excessive dust. Use with adequate ventilation and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a dust mask.

Key Functional Properties & Industrial Applications
Flame Retardancy & Thermal Decomposition
Property: Decomposes endothermically at elevated temperatures (starting around 350°C), releasing inert carbon dioxide (CO2) gas and leaving a magnesium oxide (MgO) residue.
Application: Acts as a non-halogenated flame retardant and smoke suppressant filler in polymers (e.g., PVC, rubber). Also serves as the primary raw material for manufacturing refractory bricks and magnesia cements.
Reinforcement & Functional Filling
Property: Provides high filler loading capacity, improving mechanical properties such as hardness, stiffness, and dimensional stability.
Application: Widely used as a cost-effective and performance-enhancing filler in rubber compounds (e.g., shoe soles, tires), plastics, paints, and coatings. Imparts whiteness and improves surface properties.
Alkalinity & Chemical Reactivity
Property: Exhibits weak alkalinity in aqueous systems.
Application: Used as an acid scavenger, in flue gas desulfurization, and as a neutralizing agent in various chemical processes. Also applied in agriculture for soil pH adjustment.
