Product Description

Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (abbreviated as CSM) is a high-performance specialty rubber material. It is widely used across multiple industrial sectors due to its remarkable resistance to weathering, chemicals, and its excellent mechanical properties.

CSM is produced through the chlorosulfonation reaction of polyethylene. It has a unique chemical structure and superior physical properties, which enable it to perform exceptionally well in harsh environments.

CSM is a rubber material produced through the reaction of polyethylene with  gas  In its chemical structure, the polyethylene chain is modified with chlorosulfonic groups. These groups endow CSM with excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties.

Typically, CSM appears as an elastomer ranging in color from light yellow to brown. It has good processability and resistance to aging.
