Physical and chemical properties: Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is a colorless and transparent crystal with an astringent taste. When heated to 100°C, it loses its crystal water and turns into anhydrous zinc sulfate. It is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, and its aqueous solution is acidic. When it meets alkali, it will form zinc hydroxide precipitate.
